Job Description
We are in need of a Laboratory Technician to assist with water testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of laboratory testing experience that includes total suspended solids, pH, alkaline titrations, turbidity, etc.
HAZWOPER TRAINING IS A HUGE PLUS
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and logging samples for testing
- Perform bench physical testing of water samples such as total suspended solids, total solids, BOD, pH, alkaline titrations, spectroscopy work, turbidity, oil and grease analysis
- Perform routine microbiological sample setup and transfers
- Record QA/QC readings of equipment and analytical procedures
- Calibrate lab equipment when needed
- Record results in LIMS database
- HS Diploma
- At least 1 year of laboratory environmental testing
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task
