Overview
Front Desk for Residential Building – Long Beach, CA.
The Lobby Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and visitors entering the building. This role involves providing a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring security and safety of the premises, and delivering customer service.
ResponsibilitiesGreeting and Assistance:
- Warmly greet tenants, guests, and visitors upon arrival.
- Provide directions, information, and assistance regarding building amenities, services, and surrounding areas.
- Address and resolve inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
Access Control:
- Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter.
- Verify identification and issue visitor passes as necessary.
- Maintain a visitor log and manage guest check-ins and check-outs.
Security and Safety:
- Conduct regular surveillance of the lobby area and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Collaborate with security personnel to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or evacuations, and assist as needed.
Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between building management, security, and tenants.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Relay important information or updates to tenants and guests as required.
Lobby Maintenance:
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to address any issues or concerns.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to greet and assist tenants, guests, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Ability to monitor access, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with building management, security, and tenants.
- Basic safety awareness and the ability to respond appropriately to emergencies.
