** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site rules and property protocols in a professional manner.

+ Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws and/or regulations, maintaining professional composure during routine and emergency situations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
