- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
- Welding.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
- Less than 2 years related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical school graduate preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Welding experience.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing dock and door equipment. Proficient in welding and familiar with reading hydraulic and electrical schematics, ensuring effective maintenance and customer service.
