Installation Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As an Installation Manager in the metal additive manufacturing industry, you will oversee the installation of our advanced 3D printing systems at client sites. You will manage a team of installation service technicians, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support during the installation phase, leading to successful integration and operation of our 3D printing systems.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support a team of installation service technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality installations.
• Oversee the installation process at customer sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers during installations, providing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed installation records, prepare reports for senior management, and update installation procedures.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve installation processes and stay up-dated on industry advancements.
• This role requires high level of travel, 70%-100% M-F.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in an installation or field service role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, preferably in the metal additive manufacturing or similar high-tech industry.
• Strong technical background in metal additive manufacturing, leadership and team management skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently.
