Salary Range: $27.00 To $31.00 Hourly

Century Housing is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this position, the Maintenance Technician will keep the property well maintained for the residents by handling day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance including painting, basic plumbing and HVAC support.

• Respond to and complete resident maintenance work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Perform interior and exterior painting and drywall touch ups/patching
• Handle basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, running toilets and clearing clogged drains
• Provide HVAC support including filter changes, basic troubleshooting and coordinating with licensed HVAC contractors for major repairs
• Perform basic electrical repairs (outlets, switches, light fixtures) with scope of training
• Complete light carpentry repairs including doors, cabinets and flooring
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections across units and common areas
• Assist with unit turnovers for tenant move out and/or transitions
• Maintain grounds, common areas and building exteriors as needed
• Track and maintain inventory maintenance tools, parts and supplies
• Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with applicable building and safety codes
• Provide support for after hour emergencies

• Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in residential property maintenance
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry repairs
• Experience using standard hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and customer service mind set when working with residents
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders

• Hourly pay ranging from $27.00 to $31.00 based upon experience
