Position: Part 135 Charter/CFI/Tour Pilot at Anthelion Helicopters Long Beach, CA

Part 135 Charter/CFI/Tour Pilot job at Anthelion Helicopters. Long Beach, CA. We are looking for a versatile and motivated Helicopter Charter Pilot/Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)/Tour Pilot to join our team. This unique role combines flying charter missions, providing high-quality flight instruction, and conducting scenic tours. The ideal candidate will be safety-oriented, professional, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Charter Pilot (Part 135):

  • Operate helicopters in compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations, company SOPs, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft airworthiness.
  • Plan and execute flight missions, including passenger and cargo transport, while adhering to operational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing a professional and courteous experience.

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI):

  • Deliver one-on-one and group flight instruction to students at various levels (private, commercial, instrument, etc.).
  • Create personalized lesson plans to meet student learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure safe training practices.
  • Stay updated on FAA regulations and incorporate them into training.

Tour Pilot:

  • Conduct scenic helicopter tours, providing informative and engaging commentary.
  • Prioritize safety while ensuring passengers have a memorable experience.
  • Maintain situational awareness and professionalism during all tour operations.

Job Requirements

  • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot Certificate (Helicopter) with Instrument Rating.
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate. CFII preferred.
  • Minimum flight hours:
    • 500 hours PIC rotorcraft.
    • 100 hours cross-country.
    • 25 hours night flight.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Previous Part 135 experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
