Job Overview
Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex services and performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
ScheduleMonday through Saturday with one day off during the week. PM shift Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–8:00 PM. Saturday shift can be AM or PM.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance required as customer contact is required.
- Meet qualifications per section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safe driving habits.
Any additional experience or certifications relevant to freight delivery and customer service.
PayStarting Pay: $24.21–$35.96 per hour.
