Position Overview
Legends|ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Runner at the Long Beach Amphitheater. Long Beach Amphitheater employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.
Responsibilities- Accurately count inventories into and out of warehouse.
- Transport kegs, packaged beer and beverage products, and food replacements for concession stands.
- Lift and unload products in appropriate locations, handling items weighing up to 150 lbs.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain a clean work area within all food and beverage locations.
- Actively walk the amphitheater for delivery of required inventory.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and management; report shift activities at the end of each shift.
- Maintain regular attendance and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Tear down and clean up concession stands after events.
- Transport needed product from warehouse to internal locations.
- Rotate inventory practicing First In, First Out (FIFO).
- Maintain rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws and safe transfer/storage procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean storeroom; clean and organize equipment and stands as needed.
- Maintain security for all stands, equipment, and warehouse areas.
- Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio.
- Ability to read and understand building diagrams and maps.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting, pushing or pulling of items weighing 10-20 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of kegs and other objects weighing up to 100-150 lbs.
- Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers.
