Position
Senior Allocation & Wave Planner
OverviewResponsible for the successful coordination of all orders through the warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversee, train, instruct, and resolve issues escalated by the Allocation team.
- Ensure orders are properly managed and processed through the warehouse.
- Monitor the system to identify stuck or lost orders.
- Coordinate with material handlers on movement of goods from overstock to the pick area.
- Investigate and resolve held short and held format orders.
- Investigate and solve workflow issues using knowledge of all DC operations.
- Communicate issues and directions to associates.
- Monitor released wave progress through the Pick, Pack and Ship process and communicate with the respective Supervisor about any delays.
- Compile data from ERP and WMS System and report as needed to support key performance indicator monitoring.
- Run daily orders released reports and ensure proper processing to close and deliver orders.
- Assist and resolve complex or problem situations; provide system matter expertise; assist with training and instructing co-workers regarding operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills/Education
- High School Diploma or GED with 2-5 years of related experience.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Knowledge and ability to extract data from warehouse management system and perform basic functions to analyze data.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of WMS wave planning software to evaluate issues and maximize efficiency.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work through complex projects and provide detailed updates.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Self‑motivated and willing to ask questions when directions are needed.
- Motivates other team members.
- Netsuite experience.
Base Pay: $22.75 - $25.00/hour plus bonus.
