Overview

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to work with a leading auto parts supplier in Long Beach. This leadership role is designed for an experienced professional who strives to grow and make a tangible impact on warehouse operations, productivity, and safety.

Salary and Shift Patterns

Salary: USD
80000 - USD
98000 per annum

Shift Patterns:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM/4:00 PM; 10-hour shifts with some flexibility and occasional overtime required

Essential Requirements for Warehouse Operations Supervisor
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant warehouse job function
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment
  • 5+ years of warehouse receiving experience
  • 5+ years of understanding of inbound warehousing operations
  • Proficient MS Excel use to make daily operations more efficient
  • Availability to work some Saturdays and 10-hour days
  • Experience supervising teams of 15–20 associates

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse databases
  • Ability to resolve complex or sensitive issues with professionalism
  • Skilled in applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., PDCA)
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Role Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work of warehouse office staff, material handlers, and assemblers
  • Plan, organize, and manage the receipt, classification, and storage of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Implement inventory control procedures and track material movement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
  • Set team goals, monitor performance, and address issues through training and development
