Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG welding equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and drill presses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous MIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to pass a welding test.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Welding certification is a plus.
  • Experience with fabrication and fitting.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
