The Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport is located on the Gulf Coast in Harrison County, Mississippi. NCBC's primary mission is support of the Naval Construction Forces, also known as the "Fighting Seabees," as well as Naval Forces located at NASA's John C Stennis Space Center and aboard naval vessels at Huntington Ingalls
- Pascagoula. There are 39 tenants who call NCBC home. NCBC exists to maintain and operate facilities and provide services and material in support of Naval Construction Force Unites, to include Amphibious Construction Fleet Units, the Maritime Prepositioning Force (Enhanced), and other fleet and assigned organizational units deployed from or home ported at NCBC Gulfport, and to perform such other functions and tasks as may be assigned by higher authority.

• Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
• Assist in rehabilitation.

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Graduate from an American Psychology Association (APA) accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
• BLS
  - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association or Military Training Network emblem.
• As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
