Part-time Mathematics Teacher

The Nassau BOCES Department of Regional Schools & Instructional Programs is seeking a part-time mathematics teacher to support the Twilight Alternative High School Program at its Long Beach location on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Responsibilities include delivering New York State standards aligned instruction in Geometry and Algebra/Trigonometry, differentiating lessons and incorporating diverse teaching methods to meet the varying needs of all students, and utilizing instructional technology to deliver engaging instruction.

Requirements include New York State Education Department (NYSED) Certification:
Mathematics (Grades 7-12) and strong instructional and classroom management skills. Salary is $82.28 per hour.
