AMR is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to maintain and repair our ambulance and medical transport fleet. In this vital support role for healthcare operations, you will perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on gas and diesel vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems. You'll ensure mission ready, safe, and reliable units for emergency and non emergency transport. Work closely with fleet, clinical, and operations teams, following strict safety, quality, and documentation standards while supporting AMR's patient focused, community oriented mission.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on ambulance and fleet vehicles
Complete preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and uptime
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, brake, and safety systems
Document all work performed in maintenance and compliance systems
Ensure vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and company standards
Collaborate with fleet, clinical, and operations staff to prioritize repairs
Respond to occasional roadside or on-call repair needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant shop environment
