The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Scheduler/Receptionist is responsible for coordinating and managing patient appointments to support efficient operations and a positive patient experience. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and staff to schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient information, communicate scheduling details, and help ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care.

As Scheduler/Receptionist,a typical day might include the following:
  • Scheduling patients in collaboration with the Central Scheduling team utilizing Breast Center guidelines
  • Verifying insurance and pre-authorizations have been obtained
  • Communicating appointment details with patients and addressing scheduling inquiries
  • Marinating accurate patient information and documentation within the medical records
  • Providing courteous, professional customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School diploma and equivalent. Preferably with clerical experience in health care and medical terminology. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as copier, fax machines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn.
