Job Summary:

General Contractor is seeking carpenters with expertise in commercial restaurant and retail construction sites.

Compensation:
Negotiable.

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in commercial office, retail and restaurants and has worked in various commercial settings
• Must possess own tools and transportation
• Ability to work in an open remodel environment while maintaining good relationships with the client
• Applicant must pay attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Responsible for layout in accordance with all project requirements
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and how to maintain a safety program on all projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Must be enthusiastic, professional and have the ability to adapt to change

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance on their work vehicle
• Must have own transportation to work
• Candidates should be flexible on work times, locations and schedules
• Able and willing to travel, and work nights and weekends
• Position is for Tri-State area with additional travel potential

Job Summary:

Superintendents are responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site management. Superintendents serve as the point person on each job site, working in conjunction with Project Managers.

• Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement
• Strong management and scheduling skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Understand subcontractor responsibilities
• Understand technology as required onsite
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and how to maintain a safety program on all projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Must be enthusiastic, professional and have the ability to adapt to change

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance on their work vehicle
• Must have own transportation to work
• Local and traveling superintendents welcome
• Able and willing to travel and work nights and weekends
• Position is for Tri-State area with additional travel potential

• Intermediate knowledge of computer required
• Must be comfortable sending emails, attaching documents to emails, etc.
• Ability to upload and send progress photos weekly
• Draft and manage project schedules
• Directs the activities of subcontractors and client vendors
• Maintain schedules, complete daily work reports, do weekly two week outlook
• Interact with on-site and client personnel
• Coordinate inspections and local authorities
• Deliver a quality and on time project

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial fast track construction
• Proven track record of running successful projects

General Contractor is seeking Construction Superintendent with expertise in supervising commercial and construction sites, coordinating trades, supervising subcontractors, ordering building materials, and participating in job-site coordination meetings with the architect and owner.

• A well-rounded manager with proven project management experience in retail and restaurants and has worked in NYC
• Ability to work in an open remodel environment while maintaining good relationships with the client
• Has an NYC superintendent license
