Band Assistant - Percussion (Fall)
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Reports To:
Building Principal
Job Goal:
To assist the Band Director in preparing, instructing, and guiding students in percussion, supporting both the instructional program and extracurricular activities to ensure successful Marching Band performances.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Assist with rehearsals, parades, and competitions.
- Provide small group or sectional instruction to strengthen student performance in the area of percussion.
- Support the Director in organizing music, instruments, and equipment.
- Help supervise students at rehearsals, performances, and trips.
Rate: $3,000 annual LBSEA Contract - SALARY GUIDES FOR YEARLY STIPENDS, pp. 81-83
