POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing fleetparts inventory, coordinating parts procurement, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting fleet maintenance operations, and ensuring timelyavailability of parts and materials required for vehicle and equipment repairs.

This position serves as a key link between technicians, vendors, and fleetleadership to maximize shop efficiency and equipment uptime.

Manage inventory levels for fleet parts, tools,supplies, and consumables.
Order, receive, inspect, and stock parts for vehicles, equipment, and shop operations.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the fleet maintenance management system.
Research part availability, pricing, and leadtimes from vendors and suppliers.
Create and process purchase orders for parts and related maintenance materials.
Coordinate parts returns, warranty claims, andvendor credits.
Reconcile packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
Monitor inventory usage and recommend minimum and maximum stocking levels.
Conduct routine inventory counts and annual physical inventories.
Ensure the parts room and inventory storage areas remain organized, clean, and secure.
Enter parts, labor, and maintenance data intothe fleet management software system.
Assist with tracking preventative maintenance schedules and vehicle inspection reports.
Coordinate warranty repairs and outside vendorservice appointments.
Assist with parts and equipment pickup or delivery as needed.
Maintain vendor relationships and assist in negotiating pricing and service agreements.
Support technicians and fleet personnel by ensuring timely availability of required parts.
Generate inventory, purchasing, and maintenance reports as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,particularly Excel.
Experience using fleet maintenance or inventory management software.
Knowledge of vehicle and heavy equipment partsand components.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in fleet maintenance, parts management, inventory control, or a related field.

Position offers competitive pay, benefits, paid vacation,and health/dental insurance.

Full-time: $23 - $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
