The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. The registered nurse assures safety in practice, incorporates evidence‑based practice, maintains knowledge, reports safety issues, supervises task delegation, collaborates with other providers, sets and evaluates priorities, and uses the nursing process to provide individualized patient care.

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• One to two years of experience within specialty
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Valid New Jersey State Driver’s License

• BA/BS/BSN Degree
• Completion of clinical experience in an NLN accredited school
• Screening Certification eligibility
• National Certification

• Day Shift, Per Diem

• Assures safety in practice and incorporates evidence‑based practice, maintains knowledge, and advances team knowledge.
• Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Has knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and delegates tasks, collaborates with other providers.
• Sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Utilizes the nursing process to integrate care and individualize care plans.
