Pay Range: $ - $ per year

• Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Collaborates with the patient, family and other health care providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Completes assessment of competency skills for all staff annually.
• Consults with staff nurses, Clinical Directors, physicians, administrators and other professionals on practice-related issues.
• Contributes to performance evaluations of nursing staff.
• Coordinated and facilitates nursing orientation in collaboration with the Clinical Director, orientee and preceptor.
• Coordinates and participates in general nursing education programs, including orientation.
• Develops and conducts educational programs based on skills, knowledge, and educational needs of nursing staff, patients and families.
• Develops nursing standards of practice, patient care standards and policies with staff registered nurses.
• Assists with implementation of standards through education.
• Enhances own professional growth through continuing education, independent study and professional organization participation.
• Completes other duties as assigned by the Director.

Required:

• BS/BSN
• Minimum of three years current experience in the required area of specialization.
• One year of demonstrated leadership/management experience.

Preferred:

• ED degree in Nursing or related health field.
• Master's in non‑nursing field with BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of education, teaching, preceptor or other relevant experience.

• BLS and ACLS credentials through AHA.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
