Summary of Job FunctionThe Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, while assuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. The RN ensures safety in practice, incorporates evidence‑based practice, reports safety issues, knows the patient population, supervises tasks, and collaborates with other providers. The RN consistently sets priorities and evaluates outcomes, and, as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, uses the nursing process to individualize care plans for specific patients.

Qualifications- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- One to two years’ experience within specialty
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Valid N.J. State Driver’s License
- BA/BS/BSN Degree
- Completion of Clinical experience in an NLN accredited school
- Screening Certification eligibility
- National Certification
- Night Shift, Per Diem
- The RN assures safety in practice and incorporates evidence‑based practice by maintaining and advancing knowledge, communicating with resources, and using available programs.
- The RN reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- The RN is knowledgeable of the patient population served.
- The RN supervises and delegates tasks, collaborating with other providers.
- The RN consistently sets and evaluates priorities through interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- The RN, as a practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, uses the nursing process to integrate care aspects and individualize the plan of care for specific patients.
