Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control in Longboat Key, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support residents, guests, and staff with professional communication and customer service. In this visible role, you will conduct routine patrols and help discourage security‑related incidents while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour
Job Schedule- Mon: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Tue: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Wed: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Thu: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Fri: 03:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by following site‑specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the residential location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related events according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security‑related concerns.
- A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
