The Longmeadow Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a PT Seasonal Facilities Attendant for the Wolf Swamp Complex. The Parks & Recreation Facilities Attendant opens and closes the facility, sell concessions, cleans bathrooms, ensures compliance of permit holders, and takes inventory and stock.

Position is responsible for maintaining safe and secure operation of facilities and programs and contributes to a positive experience for all who contact or visit the facilities. This position requires staff to be energetic, self-starters who enjoys working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds and are able to interact with customers and staff in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner.

This is a seasoned position running from August thru November.

• Anticipated hours
  - Monday
  - Friday from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and weekends from 9:00am to 3:00pm; some holiday hours may be required.

Successful candidate must have:

• Knowledge of Board of Health and departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
• Ability to set-up/cleanup for activities, and permit rentals. Ability to prioritize workflow, meet established deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to actively support Town diversity, equity, and cultural competency efforts within stated job responsibilities, for event attendees and programmers, and work effectively across diverse cultures and constituencies. Ability to understand and comply with Town standards, safety rules and personnel policies.
• Strong professional communication skills both oral and written. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated professional work habits including punctuality, reliability, dependability and adaptability. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and as part of the team.

Must be at least 15 years of age. Candidates should have one (1) year related experience preferably in a Parks & Recreation environment. First Aid and CPR/AED certification is preferred.
