Teacher of the Deaf (ASL Fluent) – Full-Time | Longmeadow, MA | 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Longmeadow, MA 01106
Start Date: August 5, 2026
End Date: June 21, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person
EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and licensed Teacher of the Deaf with fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students in a school-based setting for the 2026–2027 academic year in Longmeadow, MA.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Utilize fluent American Sign Language (ASL) for communication and instruction
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, service providers, and families to support student success
- Foster an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Valid Massachusetts certification/licensure as required by MA state law
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
