SCHEDULE:Part Time – 20 hrs
M-F alternating shifts: 6:45am
-10:45am and 3
-7pm

DEPARTMENTDESCRIPTION:
Multi-Disciplinary Outpatient Rehabilitation practice servicing Western MA for over 15 years.
Gain Experience in the healthcare industry to include patient registration, scheduling, insurance authorization and billing.

RESPONSIBILITIESBaystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.
QUALIFICATIONS Requirements- High School diploma or GED
- Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST.
- Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service.
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred.

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
