Position Summary:The HR Generalist will support a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This individual will serve as a key resource for employees and managers while helping drive HR programs and initiatives that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Administer new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee education regarding benefit programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Support performance review processes and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with policy development, implementation, and communication.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus.
