What You'll Do:
  • Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the Rehabilitation Unit, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high‑quality resident care.
  • Assume full responsibility for residents' nursing care: monitor conditions, follow physician orders, and apply recognized nursing techniques and standards.
  • Recognize and report changes in residents' conditions, initiate or assist with interventions, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
  • Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to administrative and clinical standards.
  • Monitor trends in nursing practices, evaluate their applicability, and implement improvements to enhance care quality.
What You'll Need:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Hold an active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
  • Have current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Have 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred in a long‑term care setting, with strong clinical assessment skills.
  • Be proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Be able to foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team, and represent the organization professionally.
