- Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the Rehabilitation Unit, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high‑quality resident care.
- Assume full responsibility for residents' nursing care: monitor conditions, follow physician orders, and apply recognized nursing techniques and standards.
- Recognize and report changes in residents' conditions, initiate or assist with interventions, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
- Instruct nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to administrative and clinical standards.
- Monitor trends in nursing practices, evaluate their applicability, and implement improvements to enhance care quality.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold an active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
- Have current CPR/BLS certification.
- Have 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred in a long‑term care setting, with strong clinical assessment skills.
- Be proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
- Possess strong organizational skills and ability to maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Be able to foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team, and represent the organization professionally.
