FLSA Status and Pay: LPN: $34, RN: $37
Schedule:
Part-time 11pm-7am, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other weekend
Location:
Onsite, 24 Tabor Crossing Longmeadow, MA 01106
Summary
Glenmeadow is seeking a caring and compassionate RN or LPN. The Retirement Community Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents. This role is ideal for a dedicated and empathetic nursing professional committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in a vibrant senior living community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments andmonitorresidents' health status regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Provide education and support to residents and their familiesregardinghealth management and wellness.
- Respond to calls ina timelyandappropriate manner.
- Document all nursing care and resident interactions accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Active
RN or LPN license in Massachusetts. - Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in a long-term care, geriatric, or retirement community setting.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong clinical assessment skills toidentifyhealth concerns and monitor changes in residents' conditions
- Effective communication skills to educate residents and families and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and ensuretimelycare delivery
- Compassion and empathy to provide emotional support and enhance residents' overall well-being
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
