Position: Sales and Service Coordinator (Witbank)

Introduction

Sales/Service Coordinators will be responsible for supporting the sales team and customers during the sales and service process as well as helping customers resolve sales/service-related issues in a timely manner, generally providing real-time support.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the sales team — Schedules service rosters, filing important documents and communicating relevant information to all stakeholders.
  • Review stock levels to meet sales orders.
  • Send requests to Warehouse Supervisor for stock replenishment.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of sales orders as agreed with customers.
  • Monitor the team’s progress
    , identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Assist the sales/service team in meeting their objectives.
  • Train and coach new interns or sales/service coordinator learnerships.
  • Prepare sales quotes for customers.
  • Support the Key Account Managers, Technical Expert, and Service Manager.
Customer Service
  • Managing customer expectations
  • Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
    , and provide after-sales support when requested.
  • Agree on delivery dates and times with other departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
Sales Reporting
  • Read and evaluate sales/service reports
    .
Processing of Sales/Service invoices
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash
    .
Innovation, Marketing and Support
  • Creates new and innovative ideas to sell products
    .
  • Submit any new innovative ideas to management in the PDRI meetings weekly.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales/service-related equipment or material
    .
  • Assist the marketing department in new marketing campaigns.
Policies, Procedures and ISO compliance

Ensure adherence to the company’s policies and procedures

Qualifications

Desired Experience & Qualification
:
Grade 12 or Matric + Degree in Business Administration
