We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support core financial operations with a focus on full‑cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, UKG payroll processing for roughly 150 employees, and key reconciliation and month‑end close activities. This role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, consistency, and ownership of essential accounting processes.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable, receivable, and payroll duties

1+ year experience in expense processing

Experience processing 150+ employees

UKG preferred, but open to other payroll processing

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or a related business field strongly preferred.

Job Description:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting with accounts payables, receivables, managing multi-state payroll processing, supporting billing and month-end reconciliations, managing accounts payable data entry, and communicating with vendors regarding payments and tax documentation. This role also involves expense reporting, purchasing, and receiving, with a focus on vendor invoices, delivery status, and related inquiries.

Responsibilities Include:

Full‑Cycle Accounts Payable - Process vendor invoices, verify coding and approvals, maintain vendor records, manage payment runs, and resolve discrepancies.

Full‑Cycle Accounts Receivable - Generate customer invoices, apply payments, monitor aging, and follow up on outstanding balances.

UKG Payroll Processing - Prepare and process biweekly payroll for ~150 employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, deductions, benefits, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Account Reconciliation - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, research variances, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.

Month‑End Close - Assist with journal entries, accruals, reporting, and other close activities to support timely and accurate financial statements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
