Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of individual and business tax returns
- Bookkeeping duties for various clients
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Year-end reviews
- Resolve tax matters with the IRS and State
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks online
- Processing A/P and A/R for clients
- Processing payroll and quarterly payroll reports
- Prepare 1099s at year end
- Work as part of a team on bigger projects to get them completed on time
- 3 plus years of experience with forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990
- 2-3 years Quickbooks Desktop experience
- 2-3 years Quickbooks Online experience
- Proficient with Excel
- Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Sales Tax experience preferred
- EA or CPA Credentials preferred
- Payroll Preparation Experience preferred
- Experience with Intuit Proseries preferred
- EA
