Thisisahands-on,technically strong
Controllertoleadtheaccountingfunctionandensuretheaccuracy,integrityandtimelycompletionoffinancialreportingacrossmultiplebusinessentities.
AsthesenioraccountingleaderwithintheorganizationreportingtotheCFO,the Controllerwillhavedirectownershipofthemonth-endcloseprocessandoverseeaccountingacrossthreebusinessentities,includingintercompanyactivityandconsolidations.
Thisindividualwillalsoprovideleadershipandtechnicalguidancetoasmallaccountingteam.

Astheorganizationcontinuestogrow,the Controllerwillalsoplayanimportantroleinstrengtheningaccountingprocessesandsupportingfutureacquisitionsandintegrationactivities.
- Ownandleadthecompletemonth-endandyear-endcloseprocessesacrossmultiplebusinessentities,ensuringtimelyandaccuratefinancialreporting.
- Maintainastrongunderstandingofthegeneralledgerandensuretransactions,reconciliationsandfinancialstatementsarecompleteandaccurate.
- Manage multi-entity accounting,includingintercompanytransactions,reconciliationsandconsolidatedfinancialreporting.
- Oversee construction-relatedaccounting,including work-in-progress(WIP) accountingandotherindustry-specificaccountingrequirements.
- Oversee treasury,dailybankactivityandcashflow.
- Reviewbalancesheetreconciliations,journalentriesandsupportingschedules,identifyingandresolvingdiscrepancies.
- Maintainappropriateaccountingcontrols,processesanddocumentationtosupportaccurateandscalablefinancialoperations.
- Provide hands-on leadership,coachingandtechnicalguidancetotheaccountingteam,includinga

- Partnerwithleadershiptoprovideaccuratefinancialinformationandinsighttosupportbusinessdecisions.
- Coordinatewithexternalauditorsandsupportannualauditactivities.
- Supportaccountingandfinancialintegrationrelatedtofutureacquisitions.
- Identifyopportunitiestostrengthenprocesses,controlsandefficienciesastheorganisationcontinuestogrow.
- Utilize Sage Intaccttosupportaccountingoperations ,reportingandfinancialmanagement.
- Bachelor'sdegreein
Accounting,Financeorarelatedfield. - Strongtechnicalaccountingknowledgewithdemonstratedownershipofacompletemonth-endcloseprocess.
- Experiencemanagingaccountingacrossmultipleentities,includingintercompanyaccountingandconsolidations.
- Constructionindustryaccountingexperiencestronglypreferred.
- ExperiencewithWIPaccountingstronglypreferred.
- Experienceworkingin Sage Intacctpreferred .
- Previousauditexperienceisastrongplus.
- Experiencesupportingacquisitions,integrationsorgrowingmulti-entityorganizationsisaplus.
- Demonstratedabilitytoworkhands-onwhilealsoprovidingleadershipanddirectiontoanaccountingteam.
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttofinancialaccuracy.
- Abilitytoidentifyissues,takeownershipanddriveworkthroughcompletion.

- Basesalaryrange:$120,000to $160,000dependingonexperience
