Chernoff Properties | Longmont, CO | Full-Time | Onsite About Chernoff Properties
Chernoff Properties is a commercial real estate developer managing 650,000+ square feet across office, medical, industrial, and retail properties in Boulder County, Colorado. We're a small, high-performing team running a serious portfolio: 350+ tenants, multiple active construction and capital projects, and a pace that rewards sharp, reliable people.
The OpportunityThis is the most advanced Executive Assistant role you've ever seen.
Your primary mission is to make the CEO more effective. You'll own his calendar, inbox, follow-ups, meeting prep, travel, and anything else consuming his time that doesn't require him specifically. You are the filter, the organizer, and the executor.
Beyond CEO support, you'll be a trusted resource for the broader team: a collaborative teammate who helps move things forward, coordinates across functions, and picks up what needs handling. The team gains a capable partner, not a new layer of management.
High-trust. High-autonomy. High-impact.
What You'll Do CEO Support (Primary)- Own and manage the CEO's inbox: triage, draft responses, flag priorities
- Manage calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Handle travel logistics and trip planning
- Prepare briefings and materials for meetings, calls, and site visits
- Draft professional communications on the CEO's behalf
- Track open items and ensure nothing gets dropped
- Take on special projects and research as directed
- Help track company-wide projects across construction, leasing, and property management
- Coordinate with departments so the right people have the right information
- Assist with vendor coordination and contract administration
- Build and improve internal systems and processes
- Fill gaps, pick up loose ends, and make the operation run more smoothly
- 7+ years in a high-level executive support, chief of staff, operations, or project management role
- Exceptional written communication skills: fast, clear, and professional
- Proactive by nature: you see what's coming and handle it before it becomes a problem
- Strong technology skills: active AI user, fluent in Microsoft Office, quick to learn new tools
- Low ego, high reliability, genuinely collaborative
- Must be local to the Longmont/Boulder County area. This is a fully onsite position with occasional travel across the portfolio.
Background in real estate, construction, finance, law, or a similarly complex field is a strong plus.
Why This Role- Direct access and impact: you'll work alongside the CEO every day
- No bureaucracy: small team, real responsibility, decisions that matter
- Variety: no two days look the same across leasing, construction, acquisitions, and operations
- Growth: the right person will become one of the most knowledgeable operational leaders in Colorado's mid-market CRE space
$65,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full-time, onsite.
Benefits include paid time off and company contribution of 50% toward health and dental insurance premiums. Meaningful growth potential for the right person.
We're looking for the person who quietly keeps everything together and makes everyone around them more effective. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
