The CEO is seeking a Business Operations Manager who is ready for a meaningful next step in their career. This is an opportunity for a high-capacity professional who has built a strong operational foundation and is eager to expand their scope, influence, and leadership within a growing organization.
Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, this role will become a trusted operational partner, owning the day-to-day business infrastructure that allows the leadership team to stay focused on growth. From managing cross-functional priorities and supporting finance, HR, and technology vendors to improving processes and introducing greater operational consistency, this individual will play a pivotal role in how the business scales over the coming years.
JobScope
Work in collaboration with external vendor business partnerships while supporting financial activities.
- Manage relationships with key external partners including finance, HR, legal, and IT providers.
- Track recurring operational deliverables and renewals to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Work with the in-house Accountant and fractional finance team on recurring accounting and financial activities.
- Support operational workflows with accounts payable, payroll, reporting, budgeting, and financial administration.
Project Management & Business Systems — 20%
Support operational initiatives that improve how the organization works.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Improve business workflows through documentation, automation, and AI-enabled processes.
- Support implementation and optimization of business systems including Microsoft 365, Click Up, SharePoint, Hubspot, and emerging technologies.
People Operations & Administration — 20%
Provide operational leadership for internal people functions while supporting a positive employee experience.
- Directly manage the HR Coordinator and future in-house Accountant.
- Work in collaboration with the external HR vendor partner on all onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
- Partner with fractional HR resources to ensure compliance, policy administration, and HR initiatives remain on track.
- Assist leadership in building scalable people processes as the organization grows.
- Organize and lead HR activities with direct reports.
Office Operations — 20%
Serve as the office go-to, ensuring day-to-day office operations and needs are handled.
- Own the day-to-day coordination of office operations (e.g., office supply ordering, restocking items).
