Summary
SENS is looking for a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to process and coordinate sales orders, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, data accuracy, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support production scheduling and resolve customer inquiries. Ideal candidates will have experience in order administration, a background in manufacturing or distribution, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Timely and accurate processing of sales orders.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for customers and orders.
- Owning backlog management activities on existing orders ensuring updates in production and delivery timelines.
- Order delivery scheduling based on standard rules, regular meetings, and negotiations with Manufacturing Operations.
- Communicating with customers and colleagues via teams, email, phone, as necessary to update and coordinate customer shipments.
- Developing and maintaining superior relationships with internal and external customers/partners.
- Maintaining and improving SOPs to facilitate process improvement.
- Identifying risks impacting customer satisfaction.
- Problem solving both independently and collaboratively.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service and/or order management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to perform fast and accurate data entry, along with other detail-focused computer-based tasks.
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a strong commitment to team collaboration and shared goals.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution operations.
- Experience in production scheduling and planning.
- Experience with manufacturing and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Hub Spot, and in learning new software applications.

Base Compensation$20 - $26 hourly wage depending on qualifications and experience.
