OverviewLongmont Dairy is looking for an experienced, compassionate, friendly and patient Customer Services Representative. The role involves handling all customer phone calls, greeting and assisting walk‑in customers and guests, maintaining account receivable records, completing daily route books, and other tasks as assigned. This front‑desk position offers a starting salary range of $18‑$21 per hour.
Responsibilities- Answer phone calls promptly (within 2 rings).
- Handle customer interactions promptly and professionally.
- Follow through with customer problems and complaints to resolution.
- Update customer accounts with current deliveries, order changes, payments and appropriate credit.
- Compare data from route books to that in the Delivery Management System, research discrepancies and make needed corrections.
- Generate and mail customer invoices monthly.
- Prepare and balance deposits daily.
- Maintain database and spreadsheet files.
- Perform clerical duties as required including filing, photocopying and mail processing.
- Initiate customer contact when needed to insure accurate billing and delivery.
- Prepare monthly invoices for drivers to deliver.
- Email and mail invoices to specified recipients.
- Handle all data entry records into the customer service spreadsheet to accurately track issues.
- Input new customers to start service.
- Make phone contact with new customers to ensure delivery was made to satisfaction and answer any questions.
- Run monthly automatic including credit cards and ACH.
- Maintain expired and declined credit cards with a phone call and letter.
- Maintain collections and aging in designated routes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Greet incoming applicants, customers, and vendors.
- Screen applicants and ensure paperwork is complete.
- Track shipments that come in and go out.
- Schedule appointments and interviews for managers.
- High school diploma or GED, or one to two years related customer service experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to speak clearly, read, write and comprehend English at an excellent level and communicate well to individuals and small groups.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Delivery Management System and map reading software.
- Time management and work prioritization skills.

Work ScheduleMonday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
