Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our thriving practice in Longmont, CO! We offer a truly competitive compensation package that reflects the current Boulder county market, a 4-day work week with Fridays off, and supportive team environment where you'll love coming to work. We are a small private general practice focused on comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dental care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing
  • Perform Periodontal assessments, charting, and oral cancer screenings
  • Capture and interpret dental radiographs
  • Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapies
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care techniques, and overall wellness
  • Accurately document treatment notes, patient histories, and care plans in practice management software
  • Collaborate closely with dentists to create individual treatment plans
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (as permitted)
  • Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associates degree or higher)
  • Active Colorado Registered Dental Hygiene license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (can provide if not current)
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
  • Preferred 1+ year of clinical experience
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide permits
  • Periodontal therapy, and/or laser dentistry experience
