Hospitalist Physician

OB/GYN Nocturnist Opportunity Longmont, Colorado

Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to provide overnight inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment supported by a multidisciplinary care team.

Position Details:

• Provide comprehensive overnight obstetric care including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage

• Manage urgent gynecologic consults and emergency obstetric situations

• Perform rapid assessments and interventions for maternal and fetal complications

• Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, and onsite multispecialty teams

• Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and handoffs with daytime providers

• Document patient care and procedures using Epic EMR

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and hospital committees as needed

• Support mentoring and training of residents or advanced practice providers when applicable

• Flexible nocturnist schedule averaging 6 12 shifts per month

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified in OB/GYN

• Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain

• Active DEA registration (required prior to start)

• Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation

• Clean malpractice history preferred
