Position: Speech Language Pathologist in Longmont, CO

A full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K‑12 public school district located in the Denver area, Colorado. This onsite role focuses primarily on providing speech‑language services to elementary students within a diverse caseload range of 25 to 45 students. The position offers a contract through May 21, 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal for the following school year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech‑language therapy and assessments to students ranging from kindergarten through high school, with an emphasis on elementary age groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development.
  • Participate in district‑approved professional development activities with billing provided.
  • Manage caseload effectively while documenting progress and maintaining compliance with district and state standards.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
  • Active Colorado Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
  • Experience is valued, with pay rates adjusted based on tenure:
    • 0-2 years of school experience
    • 3-5 years
    • 6-9 years
    • 10+ years
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to a school‑based setting.
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite full‑time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
