Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Longmont, CO, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support student development and well-being. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment dedicated to fostering academic success and emotional health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Monitor and document student performance and behavioral data
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support compliance with educational regulations
- Valid School Psychologist credential and licensure
- Experience conducting psycho educational assessments in school settings
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
