Altona Middle School Team Leader

Position Overview

Wyld Life is seeking a well‑connected parent of an Altona Middle School student to serve as a School Connector. The primary objective of this role is clear and measurable: build a consistent weekly attendance of 20+ Altona students at the Wyld Life club. This position focuses on relationship‑building, networking, invitation, and removing barriers that prevent students from attending.

• Maintain a positive, active presence within the Altona community.
• Build and maintain relationships with other parents and stay informed on school activities.
• Personally invite students and families to the Wyld Life club and follow up with new attendees.
• Help distribute promotional materials and increase awareness of Wyld Life.
• Identify students who need rides and coordinate carpools.
• Attend weekly clubs and communicate regularly with the Wyld Life Director.

• Parent or guardian of a current Altona Middle School student.
• Strong relational presence within the school community.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and inviting others.
• Organized and reliable.
• Must sign a Statement of Faith and subscribe to Young Life’s policies.

Estimated 8 hours per week, divided approximately into 4–5 hours at the club, 2–3 hours networking and inviting at school, and 1 hour meeting with the Wyld Life Director.

• Strong relational connections within the school community.

Part‑time (approximately 8 hours per week). Compensation: $20 per hour. Fundraising component: $5,000 per year (training and support provided).
