Creative Part-Time Para Educator Needed

The APEX Program is a homeschool enrichment program, and we exist to supplement and complement the efforts of parents who have chosen to be their child's primary educator. Our mission is to come along side of homeschooling parents and provide for homeschooled students the best of both worlds, bringing together the dynamic experience of a public school classroom and the freedom of a homeschool education.

The APEX Program currently has an opening for a creative, energetic part/time para educator to assist in our 2nd Grade classroom starting in the  school year. Candidates with a teaching license or sub license preferred but not required. This position is in classified range 4 ($18.82-$27.08). Position is.623 FTE at our APEX location at 1351 S. Sunset Street in Longmont. Hours are 8:15 to 1:45 Mon-Fri.

The position begins in August 2026. On occasion, this person may be called on to sub in other classes if they holds a sub/teaching license.

The APEX Program, sponsored by the St. Vrain Valley Schools, is open to students in grades K through 12, and is designed to support parents who choose to educate their children ents remain the primary instructional provider, with the school supplementing and complementing their efforts. An understanding and supportive approach to home schooling is highly valuable to us in our staff.
