Qualifications and

Preferred Experience:

• Previous paraprofessional experience required, with a strong background in behavioral support
  -experience handling significant or severe caseloads in schools is highly desirable
• Ability to provide two completed professional Ref Assured references at the time of application (requirement for consideration)
• Reliable transportation is essential (personal vehicle or other personal means; public transit and ride-sharing services are not accepted)
• Available to start by the specified date and commit through the full duration of the contract
• Must successfully complete district-required fingerprinting after offer acceptance with a clean legal record
• Comfortable assisting students with toileting and diapering, as required
• Capable of reporting on-site by 7:40am for elementary or 8:00am for middle/high school assignments

Responsibilities:

• Support instructional and behavioral plans for students with varying needs, especially those with significant challenges
• Adapt quickly to changing assignments and environments; reassignment across sites and age groups may occur
• Collaborate with educators and other school staff to create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks as necessary

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.33 to $35.33.
