This role: The Boulder/Longmont Teams is looking for Systems Engineers (SE) for the Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in providing support to various teams for the operation and maintenance of Ground and Space system software and equipment, and for providing system maintenance support for large computing systems, associated switching, network, communication circuits, and equipment, ensuring Ground and Space functionality.

Note: This position is contingent upon award expected March 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Support operation and maintenance of Ground and Space system software and equipment.
  • Provide system maintenance support for large computing systems, associated switching, network, communication circuits, and equipment, ensuring Ground and Space functionality.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Product Lead working in an Agile engineering environment.
  • Systems engineering experience with a focus on requirements development, management, and verification.
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with requirements management tool like DOORS.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and processes (Cameo preferred):
    SysML diagrams (Block Diagrams, Inner Block Diagrams, State Machines, Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams).
  • Previous SBIRS/NGG training experience with Satellite Ground Systems.
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills.
  • Experience in developing requirement specifications, ICDs, architecture, use case, and other ground CDRLs and artifacts.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret.

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day week; some may be condensed, providing additional time away from the office in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
  • Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in various locations is $109,200 - $192,510. Salary ranges vary by location; actual offer is based on location, experience, and other factors.
