Hardware Engineer _USD

Overview

Our client, a leading innovator in the technology industry, is seeking a Hardware Engineer 5_USD to join their dynamic team. As a Hardware Engineer 5_USD, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting the development of cutting-edge SSD products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for technological advancement, which will align successfully within the organization.

• Design and develop next-generation Solid State Drive (SSD) hardware architectures.
• Model, simulate, and analyze high-speed signaling and power supply designs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet firmware, diagnostic, and system requirements.
• Perform signal and power integrity measurements, document findings, and communicate results effectively.
• Lead hardware design efforts throughout the product lifecycle, including manufacturing considerations and design for manufacturability (DFx).

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in hardware design and development.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Cadence PCB and analysis software.
• Strong understanding of high-speed interface technologies like SATA, SAS, PCIe Gen 3&4, ONFI.
• Hands-on experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and high-bandwidth measurements.
