Position Summary

Responsible to advise and coordinate engineering activities concerning development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve conditions under which tests are conducted, and coordinate operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
- Analyze and interpret test data; prepare technical reports for use by engineering personnel.
- Provide domain expertise on NVMe and PCIe protocols as applied by Enterprise NVMe SSDs and demonstrate these skills on triage and FA investigations across the entire test bed and product range.
- Own assigned test pool from test request through results analysis and reporting, leveraging a customer‑focused demeanor toward delivering consistent and detailed test data and analysis.
- Perform first‑ and second‑level triage on test failures to aid in root‑cause analysis, and own failures in the assigned test pool through fix validation and closure.
- Collaborate across functions to innovate new solutions for execution, triage/analysis, and reporting of test data.
- Continue automation of test execution, triage, and reporting tasks throughout validation.
- Mentor junior engineers on all matters of execution, triage, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Eight years of post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- PCIe and NVMe fundamentals, protocol and analysis knowledge.
- Test triage, failure analysis, and root‑cause determination of sophisticated issues.
- SSD / System / Computer Architecture knowledge.
- Product / System validation and debugging experience.
- Experience with C and Python programming.
