Location: Longmont, CO
Work Mode: Onsite Summary:
- Manage quality performance of assigned suppliers
- Responsible for product/part qualifications
- Track metrics and work on quality improvement plans
- Review and approve quality plans
- Investigate quality escapes and ensure corrective actions
- Mentor suppliers in quality requirements and tools
- Provide onsite support as needed
- Manage supplier qualifications to ensure compliance with company engineering requirements
- Own product/manufacturing process qualifications at assigned suppliers
- Conduct supplier evaluations and compliance audits
- Facilitate serial production needs and product release
- Organize and perform inspections at suppliers
- Support customer witness inspections
- Conduct SRG audits and manage SRG metrics
- Collect and analyze supplier process data for CTQ characteristics
- Drive continuous improvement projects with suppliers
- Manage supplier non-conformance NCRs and service notices
- Perform root cause analysis to solve quality issues
- Coordinate with sourcing, design engineering, and materials/process engineering functions
- Provide technical guidance to assure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Work with commercial, engineering, and manufacturing teams to eliminate quality barriers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Controls/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years industry experience in engineering/design, quality, manufacturing
- Familiarity with Mark VIe, PCBAs, wire harnesses, and related components
- Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain and supplier quality
- Strong background in interpreting engineering drawings/specifications
- Technical knowledge to lead technical design and manufacturing reviews
- Ability to trace and interpret wiring schematics and logic circuits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (>50%)
- Advanced Technical Degree with Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering background
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certified or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of industry technical standards such as IEC, IEEE, ISO, ANSI, NEMA
- ISO Lead auditor certified
- Experience in power generation equipment manufacturing
- Field experience in gas turbine power plants
- Proactive approach and issue ownership with process orientation
- Highly self-motivated with strong influencing skills
