Supplier Quality Engineer

• Manage supplier qualifications to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Execute rigorous supplier evaluations and quality audits.
• Conduct surveillance audits and facilitate serial production needs.
• Organize and perform inspections at supplier sites.
• Support customer witness inspections and testing at third-party laboratories.
• Own Supplier Responsibility Governance (SRG) metrics and conduct audits.
• Drive process improvement and manage supplier non-conformance issues.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Develop supplier base and support new supplier onboarding.

• Bachelor's Degree in Controls, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 8-10 years of industry experience in engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Supplier Quality.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings/specifications and technical standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally at short notice (50% travel required).

• Advanced Technical Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience in Power Generation equipment manufacturing.
• Field experience in Gas Turbine Power Plants.
• Strong influencing and project management skills.
