Program Operations Sr. Project Engineer

At the dawn of a new space age, Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Program Operations team in Longmont, Colorado.

• Provide primary support to the Program Management Office, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Technical Directorate.
• Support customer meetings, data collection, and presentations track metrics.
• Apply critical thinking and initiative to address tasks and requirements for the entire program.
• Perform and coordinate Ground Segment risk & opportunity management among stakeholders.
• Support Systems Engineering ACE in facilitating DR boards and driving actions to closure.
• Coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects.
• Support understanding of program direction and strategic vision.
• Analyze data and metrics; generate metrics and presentations.

• Ability to coordinate, integrate and status multiple tasks among various stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Demonstrated experience with project management and practical knowledge of planning tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accountable and responsible, able to work in a team‑focused, dynamic environment.
• Experience briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers.
• Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Active Secret or higher clearance.

This position requires a government security clearance. A US Citizen is required for consideration. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Location:

Longmont, Colorado (Onsite Full‑time). The work will be performed on site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
